Joining in January 2025 as the Operations Assistant, Aaron David Hernandez provides behind-the-scenes support as well as front-facing service to staff and members of the National Hydropower Association.
Aaron spent his formative years traveling the United States before his family settled in Portland, OR. After attending college at Montana State University (where he majored in film production), his career zig-zagged into banking, healthcare, and academia. Working in such a variety of fields has helped him hone a unique mixture of operational skillsets and adaptive capabilities.
In his free time, he enjoys outdoor excursions with his pets, experiencing live music and the cinema with friends and familia, discussing pop culture or philosophy with just about everybody, and cooking (as well as eating) all the cuisines of the world.
