The Chalk Hill facility has limited space for individuals to tour at one time. And, we are working to accommodate the asset owners and the university students, who have meetings/competitions on Tuesday.  As such, WEC Energy Group has agreed to offer 3 tour options. No matter which option you choose, you’ll see the same features / hear the same information.

When you register for the Regional Meeting you will be given the opportunity to pick your tour time (based on availability).

Join your peers on this tour of WEC Energy Group’s Chalk Hill Dam. WEC Energy’s Chalk Hill Facility will be 100 years old next May. In the last 15 years the dam and powerhouse have been completely modernized, rehabilitated and are safely remotely operated. The powerhouse architecture is unique, beautiful and has maintained its historic nature despite rehabilitation. You will see how a 100 year old facility can be revitalized for another 100 years and you will hear from the people that were involved with the design, construction, and operation of the revitalized project.
