Montreal, Canada – REIVAX NORTH AMERICA, a leading provider of excitation systems and digital governors, was awarded a turn-key project by U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers (USACE) to replace digital governors at their Bull Shoals hydro plant, located on the White river/basin in Arkansas.

USACE Little Rock district issued an unrestricted request for proposal to address the issues they are having with the existing Allen-Bradley Micrologix 1200 controller governor system. The original Woodward Gate shaft mechanical governor was replaced by American Governor Company in 2006 with the Allen-Bradley digital governor system.

The proposed Technical solution, Schedule and Past Performance were the deciding evaluation factors.  REIVAX proposal was deemed to provide the government with the best overall value and as such a subsequent award was given to REIVAX.

REIVAX governor solution includes an RVX Energy digital governor enclosure, electric-hydraulic interface and speed measuring equipment for each unit.
